A teenager died on Saturday in a fight over a dispute over playing cricket in Nalanda, Bihar. The matter is of Baira village of Khudaganj police station area. The deceased has been identified as Guddu Kumar (12), son of Raju Sao, resident of Baira village of Khudaganj police station area. On Sunday morning the family reached Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital for post-mortem of the body.
Regarding this incident, the deceased’s brother Sujit Kumar told that his two real brothers Guddu and Mantu were present near the playground of the village. The village boys started pressurizing him to play cricket. When he refused to play, a group of boys beat Guddu with a bat. Meanwhile, brother Mantu, who had gone to intervene, was also hit with a bat and broke his leg. Both of them were immediately admitted to Islampur PHC for treatment. Where doctors declared Guddu dead, while Mantu is undergoing treatment.
According to the information, after this incident the accused has fled the village. It is being told that deceased Guddu was the youngest among six brothers. Mantu is Guddu’s twin brother, who is undergoing treatment. At the same time, after the confirmation of death, there was an uproar among the family members. The atmosphere of the village became sad due to the screams of the family members.
Here, Khudaganj police station incharge Jaiprakash Narayan said that there was a dispute among the children over playing cricket. Meanwhile, a teenager from the same village killed Guddu with a bat near Pajnde. Guddu died in this incident. While his brother is undergoing treatment. The family reached the police station with the dead body. After that, the police took possession of the body and started the process of conducting post-mortem. Further action will be taken upon receipt of the application. The accused is absconding after leaving the house.
